How about we put up a tech page that lists the symptoms of each sensor when they go bad. Like the symptoms of a bad IAC, MAF, TPS, etc. Also list symptoms of misadjusted items like the TV cable, belts, etc and give general syptoms of clutches going or TCs. Just an idea. Do like Chiltons and give a troubleshooting page.

Yea thats what I meant a tech article. A page in the tech articles that gives these troubleshooting tips. I think an article like this would answer a lot of questions on the boards.

yes!

very good idea, especially for someone who may be purchasing a fuel injected car, and isn't familiar with all the sensors.

probably want to give a listing of the codes related to each sensor, and explain how to read the flashes as "codes"

good idea, though.

Well I don't know a lot of that information which is why I suggested the page. But if people could send me the info I will compile it into a page.

thats a great idea for a tech article, cause lord knows there are alot of sensors on fuel injected cars. it would be nice for us carburated guys to have a reference of what all you fuel injected guys are talking about. having never owned a fuel injected car a list of all the sensors, what their acronyms stand for, what they do, and syptoms of problems associated with them would be a very useful piece of information, even for someone like me who does own a FI car.
