I see a few new symbols here. What are they and do they mean something? the chvy symbol with the flames and black dot or just the Chevy symbol. Does anyone know what they are or mean?

Flames means "hot topic" or above 10 or 25 posts, I forget which.
Dot means you posted in that topic before.
Lock means the topic has been closed for some reason by one of those evil moderators

Dark Red means new post since your last visit, accompanied by a down arrow that you can click on to take to the most recent post since your last visit.
Light red/pink means already read or no new posts since your last visit.

There's a legend on the site somewhere I don't know where. Personally I think the symbols (lock, flames, dot) are too small on the chevy symbol, I call for a redesign

Yup, me too. They are actually the symbols that the board always had when we were using the UBB, just modified for the VBB. You can thank myself, IROCThe5.7L, and Dirk for getting them back. Brad did the originals way back when. Its so good to see them again.

Yes. They were easy, the Chevy symbols were not since they have many more functions.

Also check out the main page of the site for more updates.

I say the lock and the flames look too similar, they need to be bigger cause they look the same to me

The dots need to be in front of the flames on the "hot-topics". It makes it alot easier to identify which posts are unfortunate enough to have been posted on by me. Which is good when I'm in a real hurry to get through all the new posts.

Hey guys, glad to hear most of you like them. They took me quite a long time to do. With the help of Irocztwentygr8 critiquing them when they were being made, we got them to be exactly like they were before. They are no different then they were before, just most had to re done because they were missing.
