Helping out

Hey guys,
I have been following this site for about a year and a half now. Just got to say it is great.
I don't post much but spend much of my time reading. Its amazing what you can learn on here.

My comment is while I dont know everything I have a base knowledge and also a determination to help.

What is the process to become a mod? I figure I spend enough time on here I might as well help out.
thanks
Craig

It happens all different ways, some are picked, some ask. Being sincere about helping and enforcing the rules is a start. I had many mods put on before that did nothing. Currently I don't see a need for another mod anywhere, but that can change.

I had wanted to help to. While I am not an expert, I do know some mysql, php, and have a very good understanding of the administration of vB since I help administrate a national car club that also runs this vB software.

There is much more to vB than just account maintenance.

Yeah, it's pretty easy after a while.
