If it would be possible i suggest a View New Posts ICON in the USERCP page, i just think it would be a lot easier, and more convenient, im not sure how easy it would be or if it would cost more money or what, but it would be a bit more convenient since when you log in it automatically sends you to the USERCP page. i log in on the bottom of the message board page which i get to from the homepage.

when i log in it doesnt take me to the user cp at all, but when i open the user cp it has a section called Subscribed Threads which are threads i previously posted on, thats pretty helpful.

is that what u mean by "View New Posts ICON"

 

ya i kinda understand but i mean whenever it logs me in i get forwarded straight to the usercp page, then i click thirdgen.org message forums, then click view new posts, i just think it would be more convenient if it was just in usercp, i mean its really no big deal i just was kinda wondering how easy it would be to put a shortcut in usercp thats really all...

 

Do you visit thirdgen.org by using a bookmark? Do you have the user cp bookmarked at all? The only reason I see you being sent directly to the user cp when you log on is because you use a bookmark or you have the CP bookmarked and you're using Internet Explorer and it's something thinking you want to visit the CP since you have it bookarked (happens to me on one or two sites where I keep getting sent to an old article that I had bookmarked at one time).

Adding VIEW NEW POSTS shouldn't be too difficult to add to the user CP but I don't really think many people default to the user CP so it may be wasted. Let me know and I'll see what I can do.
