Why can't I post under my other I.D.?

Why can't I post under my other I.D.?
I've been gone for awhile and just got a new computer, I'm able to sign in with my original name ( SOLID LIFTER ), I'm able to update my profile, I can still do searches and all that, but the only thing I can't do is post. I wasn't banned and I don't think it could be my new computer (?)because I had no problem getting this new I.D. and posting with it.
