my pop-up blocker that is built into my antivirus software takes out the ads at the top of the page and i cant get to any sponsors please put thier links here

 

Can I ask for what exactly?

 

I need the links for the boards sponsors so that i can visit their sites because norton internet securities pop-up block feature also blocks banner ads from showing up.

 

I was waiting for you to say that you were gonna use them on those boards you made. (which we are still waiting for you to complete changing)

 

i will i just have alot to do i am trying to complete a project and i am making new icons and whatnot i have alot to do

i found out how to make my norton antivirus stop blocking the links to the sponsors.

ill outline the steps with pics, ut i'm not going to try to host the pics so if the admin or mods would like to make it into one post or make a sticky, or pretty much do whatever you would like with them. im sure a lot of poeple have this problem.

 

open the norton antivirus screen by doible clicking on the icon in the taskbar.

 

why the hell wont it let me add a pic when i edit???

 

go to the options button on the top click, then click "personal firewall." you will get this screen.

 

click on web content, click add site. type in https://www.thirdgen.org. then click on it where it added it to highlight it. the screen should end up looking like this:

 

finally, go to ad blocking tab and make the screen look like this(click on the add button, type in the gif name, and click on the permit option button. it should look like this:

 

and now hope to hell that the good people at thirdgen.org do not feel the need to change the names of the sponsor banners.:hail: :hail:

 

with most pop-up blockers, if you hold down CTRL while you click the link, it will bypass the blocker, and open the page.

just a quick word of advise for people using them
