I think it would be nice to have a preview box when you move the cursor over a post. Just like the classifieds.
This board has it, and it is really convenient.

I would guess that TGO is probably not likely to add this feature into their current vBulletin that they're running because vB 3.x has this feature already built in. So when TGO upgrades to vBulletin 3.x, they'll have this feature. TGO is just waiting for the right vB version to be released that will support a key mysql feature that they're wanting and waiting for.

Oh, also Brew city muscle includes what was written in the post in the e-mail they send you. Another useful feature to note.
Although that is another feature that could be hacked into this current version (fairly easy for that one), it is another feature of vB 3.x so it is probably not very likely to be added to this current version when they are going to be upgrading in the near future. I could be wrong, though, that is up to the admins. Just pointing it out.

i couldn't tell you, but maybe Dirk or Iroc can. Last i was aware, full text search was in beta for vBulletin and the results for some large sites was not great. It is still in beta, and from what i understand one of TGO's biggest interest in vB 3.x was the upcoming support for full text searching, to help improve the search function on these forums that many people are wanting.
i'm not an expert, i learn as i go as i have been for some time now, so Dirk or Iroc may have corrections or a different outlook. i know that Dirk probably has forgotten more than i will know in this area, as the phrase goes.

Actually, I can't stand that feature.
If it Does get added, could it be turned off thru our profile settings? It doesn't take long to click on a message, and then click "back" if I don't want to read it.

It is a feature that is found in vB 3.x and is a global option VIA the Admin control panel. Currently, in vB 3.x, it is not a user setting. However, TGO should be able to easily do some coding to make that a user option if they wish.

It's much faster with a 56k.

However, I do agree that this may help reduce some bandwidth for our dial-up members. A user-setting would be the best option.

I can't stand that usually. Hopefully there's a way to make it optional.
