why do i keep having to log in!?
Hello, i just joined this site but whenever i try to search forums or reply to a thread or whatever i keep having to log in at sometimes every other page.even whenthe main page says i already am. help!
With an issue like this, the first two questions usually are what are your settings for the following 2 items:
1) Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)
2) Browse board with cookies?
If you're using the cookie option (recommended) make sure no program is blocking the cookies. If that isn't the issue, then you may need to clear the TGO cookie and revisit the forums, login, to receive a new cookie. Sometimes the cookie becomes corrupt.

Also, everytime you delete all of your temporary internet files it will clear all of your cookies. So if you are a computer "neat freak" like me you will delete them constantly.

However, in this case, it seems either the cookie/index is corrupt, or he may not be browsing the forum with the cookie option.

On IE delete files and delete cookies are a seperate button.
On IE delete files and delete cookies are a seperate button.
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Windows Username Here\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Clear the contents of that directory, close your IE window, and you'll lose your cookie.
