How do you use a custom avatar on this new version? I dont like the update. Can you chose a different skin in the control panel area? This is why I build custom forums...

As it says at the top of the forum:
"For those of you wondering, no, this is not the new skin. Only the top banner is the new skin. The rest probably won't be installed until Monday. We haven't really tested much. If you have any problems, please email webmaster@thirdgen.org and we'll see what we can do."
