can't edit anymore?
why can't we edit our threads anymore? seems there is a 5 minute time limit now. I think for updating for sale ads, help needed posts on local boards, etc etc that it was a good idea still. Will we get this privaledge back anytime soon? Also made correcting spelling errors a lot easier too.

Things are being done to the site. It will slowly get back to the way it was, possibly even better.
Jason has more information about what is happening at the core of things, in regard to the server, but I believe that Editing/Deleting posts appeared to have been causing some mysql table locking, which hurts the server load. I would assume Jason put a time limit on it, to help prevent it from loading down the server too much until things can be properly resolved.
The reason for some of these turned off/disabled options, was done to help track down, and control, the server load issue which was taking the forums offline.
Having the forums online and available is the biggest priority, at the cost of some options.
