Everyone check your Ebay!!!

I couldnt find an appropriate place for this thread so move it if you like but its something people need to read. Everyone check to make sure there aren't any items being sold on ebay that you didnt put there. My account has been hacked into and someone has put nearly 500 items of the same thing for sale by me. Something to do with World of Warcraft. I have emailed ebay and changed my password but its Sunday and I prolly wont hear from them till tomorrow. The guy still was selling stuff even after I changed my password. When I tried to cancel the items in bulk it said they were listed through a different site. So now I owe ebay nearly $500 in listing fees!! I have searched for the item he is sellin and hes selling nearly 9,000 of these on other peoples accounts. This guy is a major hacker. I have tried to contact these people as well. Be careful everyone. It can happen to you too.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you get hacked, or did you give your password away? There are a lot of emails going around where the name is spoofed, which appears to be from ebay. They have you fill out a form do to "a problem" with your account. Which requires your name, password,..etc

I know a few people that fell into that trap.

Ill call your local police or FBI, depends on who handle internet stuff. Cause your probably gonna have 500 folks filing charges with their police that you ripped them off. Cover all your bases now, not later..........
