The requirement to select "Show Your Signature" each time you post a reply, has been something TGO has done for *years* to help minimize (in any small way) people posting their same signature over and over and over in the same thread, making the thread longer, thus, necessary to scroll.

There should be only 1 sig per user per thread.

Sometimes it seems some posters just want to see their "sig" over and over. In long threads that gets really annoying.

If you need helping with signature resizing and/or content, you can use this forum and I'm sure someone will assist:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/sign...shop-requests/

The signature section in the user control panel states the maximum specifications that the board accepts for signature images.

the reason other threads allow multiple sigs is because pages are only 15 posts long before it hits the second page. it would be great here because even in there are no sigs, when there are pages w/ pics of cars on it, it takes me more time to scroll then it does to change my oil.

EDIT: what is TGO?

I don't quite understand what the issue is that you're trying to explain, but you can control the amount of posts shown per page in your user control panel under the Edit Options setion. It's listed as "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" and allows you to pick 10-50 posts per page.

I have no idea what the problem is but I've resized my sig picture about 50 times with different pixel sizes and different KB sizes and everything.

But was it below the quoted values as listed in the user cp? What type of file is it? I'll take a look at it if you email it to me at jt@thirdgen.org

Thanks for the help JT. I finally got the forum to accept it. Apparently the size that my harddisk was saying it was wasn't what the forum saw it as. I just quickly put one together. Quick question while you're online, does it have to be under 500x100 AND under 19.5 KB?

Edit: LOL, Now I can't seem to find the checkbox to Show Signature, I swear I'm pretty intelligent computer wise but this VBulletin is kicking my BUTT!!!!

When using the full reply, it's under the message box where you type in your message, under the "Additional Options" section. "Show your Signature".

Alright i forgot to add the {Sigpic} tag to the signature area. Thats why the option wasn't showing up in the advanced reply. Here it is now I guess thanks for the help JT.
