DIY PROM
It seems me and a few "newer" people are getting really confused by the stickies on the DIY Prom board. The stickies are really unorganized.
Every time i start one it tells me to read another before i finish and that ones tells me to read another and they eventually go in a big circle never answering my questions or confusing me more.
It would be nice if there was more organization and a sticky for beginners that does not link to others links and to others. I think ONE page for an intro would really clear things for me and others. Maybe simplify it. I feel i'm ten steps behind everyone and getting further back.
just a suggestion

Re: DIY PROM
I remember when the DIY-PROM board didn't have the more comprehensive stickies that it does today. Trust me, you'd like this a lot better. It can be a steep learning curve, but it is what it is.
If you're serious about burning chips, you could do what I did (if you haven't already): get some 3-ring binders and tabs, print out the relevant information and organize everything for future reference.
