Being able to save favorite/helpful threads for reference

What I would find to be extremely helpful, would be the ability to save threads related to planned tasks (installations, parts removal etc).

Using my car as an example, the interior was the weak spot at the time of purchase. If I could save the link to each thread I find to be helpful, it would be a great timesaver for when I need to reference the article at the time of repair.

My suggestion would be a feature similar to the 'add to favorites' option of Internet Explorer; when surfing the net, if you come across a page you like, you save it under 'favorites'.

There is a similar feature already, it's call thread subscriptions. You can subscribe to any thread, without having to respond. Simply click on Thread Tools, located at the top of the first post, and click on Subscribe to this Thread. You can select email notification and which folder to save it to in your subscription folders (can be edited in the User CP section).

The above method will be saved to your forum account. Therefore, if you use a different computer, lose your operating system on your computer, etc., you won't lose all your links since it's saved in your forum account and not on your computer. In addition, if the thread happens to get moved via moderation or board software changes, the above method should redirect you to the new location. If saved in your browser's favorite, it could become a dead link, instead.
