By default, the board won't show a pic if it includes ? and + marks in the URL to prevent malicious code from possibly being executed (that's what the control panel says 
).
I went ahead and disabled that. Now your image has an X in it, possibly cuz it's hosted on a server that doesn't allow external hosts from viewing images from them.
