i'm liking the new thirdgen.org BB -- BUT....
I think things like "reply to post" "add a new post" and "user cp, register, members, f.a.q., search, and home" should look like they used to, or have the surrounding color a bit darker, I'm too used to the old boards maybe. but I think it'd benifit everyone if the little things that we take for granted weren't changed. I'm on thirgen.org, mfba.com, and clubgp.com and until the new boards here, they were all the same, except the other sites seemed like our old boards just with more features. maybe I should just deal w/ it, but I figured I'd toss my suggestions and comments for all to see anyway.
but the best feature of all is the E-Mail notification to posts that you didn't originate. I wish we would have had that for like the last 2 years.

The "user cp, register, members, f.a.q., search, and home" has to stay the way it is because its the only way it can be with VBB, UBB is different there and uses just words instead. The "reply to post" "add a new post" things have to be different. If u notice they are inside of the post in a column instead of being outside on the page like they were and have to be that little or it will not look right, so they had to be changed. The wording is actually the same wording as the previous 1's just the color and shape have been changed up, it might look better with the same color as before though or some others maybe. Yeah though, the E-Mail in the posts would have been cool to have.

Lemme first say that I know nothing about VBB!
But, if there is a template to how these boards look when the code makes them up, that just needs to be changed... it's -really- simple actually if you know anything about HTML...
If it's generated, thats going to take some searching through code to find where it gets generated, and then change it... potential PITA...
Dirk could probably change it (unless the layout is copyrighted, and he can't because of that? I just thought of that) but he'd have to want to... and right now, I ain't complainin'
