It is a change by Google Chrome that any page asking for password or credit card information will generate that secure error message in Google Chrome unless https (secure) is being used by the website's server.
https (secure) was generally used only for bank-type information to protect credit card information as well as any other personal information.
Generally, websites like ThirdGen (community-based online discussion forms) do not use https because credit card information and other bank-type information is not used.
The error does not mean that the website is comprised.

There are no other reports of this issue from other members. Activity on our site is normal which also suggests this issue is not occurring for others. I use Firefox (Mozilla) and don't receive the error. Many of our members use Google Chrome and there hasn't been any reports from other members of your error.
You said it's a message too short error. The error can appear in a pop-up, which is controlled by your browser. Although we (site) set a minimum character of 1, your browser does the work, through javascript, to make sure your message complies.
There isn't a lot of help that we can provide when the issue is not on our end and the suggestions we provide aren't followed fully or don't work.
