Quality of Hawks replacement door panels

Hey guys, my IROC door panels are looking pretty rough, and some of the fabric is peeling.. Has anyone used the hawks velour replacement ones? Any issues?

The velour fabric doesnt match the stock ones. What color do you have?

Red, like a bright red. Not the burgundy.
Similar to this one, but I have a red arm rest.

Re: Quality of Hawks replacement door panels

I tried a few places, two local ones ($389 CAD + 13% sales tax), which was unreal.. I ended up buying them from Stock Interiors.com, I guess they have them made, and I paid $450 CAD with the upper plastic piece, shipped.. Now just waiting to see what they look like..

Has anyone used them? I saw a few posts on here from way back, and there wasn't any negative info.. They also sell the ABS headliner considerably cheaper than anyone else.

Kevman, I don't see it on their website?
Was that $450 including shipping?

It was $215 for the door panels, and around $150 for the uppers.
Shipping I think was $45, but I found a 10% off code using Google.

I just installed my door panels and the interior upholstery that I bought from Hawk's. I like their product.

They don't have them for the birds, but they do for the chevys... I plan to do them next winter, wasn't sure if I was going to do them myself or just buy them... At that price it's hard to not just buy them.

Re: Quality of Hawks replacement door panels

I wish someone made something that closer resembled the stock material. I have purchased the aftermarket door panels from hawks and classic (which were the same) and its a fuzzy material nothing close to the factory.

Re: Quality of Hawks replacement door panels

I will post side by side pics when I receive mine. I looked at Camaro Central, but I had read reviews on them, that I didn't really want to get involved with their site.

Check out Rock Auto. Headliners and door panels are from acme auto headlining. wouldn't be surprised if this is where Hawks gets theirs from. Rock Auto is a hell of alot cheaper too.. T-top headliner kit with sails and visors $260 shipped from Rock Auto. $299+ from Hawks. Same with door panels...

I believe Carmine Red, it matches the existing carpet in the car.. Thank fully my car was stored indoors, so it's not faded.
