Ok so this is what I have 1991 camaro has a 1991 trans am dash gauges everything seems to be working like it should but I'm not getting power to my trunk release switch in the trans am dash I have the stock camaro trunk release but I want to do away with it and put it on the firebirds switch the car didn't come with the trunk release switch but the wiring is there for it's did they not hook it up or is it hooked up and I have a wiring problem the dash wires was cut at the driver seat and spliced together black to black red to red yellow to yellow and so on. Does anyone know where that harness ties into the main harnnes also I can pull the fuse to the lid in fuse panel and I can still operate the camaro switch I can't find anything on swapping a firebird dash in a camaro not 3rd gen to 3rd gen

Make sure the relay is plugged in. It'll only work in park and neutral, if it's a 5spd the ebrake needs to be pulled since it takes the place of the park/neutral switch.
Where's the relay on the trans am harness for the hatch located I have the camaro harness wired separate than the main harness just so I can use it

Behind the panel under the map pocket. The plug is wrapped in foam on Firebirds that dont have the remote hatch release.
