I guess I could sell you mine...$7,500 and they come attached to a 1985 IROC... just in case you need the material Classic Industries has this material for the seats for $899.99 front and rear seats and the door panels for$399.99 a pair, but they are not delivered in as cool of package as mine would be!!!

I've got a drivers seat from an 82Z that needs re-covering, still fully functional IIRC. It's the style without the "CAMARO" logo fabric,...... the "contour" emblem is missing.

Got some other LSC stuff too, ( no door panels ) What's your plan ??

 

I'd like to buy seats & door panels in red or charcoal to swap out the original ones in my 66k mile 83 Z28. I don't want to go through the process of buying seats and recovering them because I don't plan on keeping the car.

 

In case you don't know; The proper term for the 83 Camaro Orange colored CAMARO-CAMARO-CAMARO interior is actually "Charcoal". Thornburgs' seats were black and that's a 1 year color only found on the 85s; "Red" LSC Interiors were only offered in 85 too,...

It's going to be tough to find an interior with a nice driver's seat. The material wears pretty easily. I have a blue interior which I had originally planned to put in my '83. The CAMARO material is actually readily available - more or less. The IMPOSSIBLE fabric to find is the bolster material. I've gotten nearly a dozen samples and none of them are even close to the factory's

 

Yeah, I kind of figured this would be about as easy as finding the correct seats for my 87.

Thanks John for the background on them - so I guess to be correct I would need the Orange set, that belongs with the Charcoal interior. Good luck, right?

I'd still take a black or red set but have no plans of building a set with covers & seats for a car I don't plan on keeping. Thanks guys!

 

I've got your Charcoal seats here in Missouri. They are in useable condition. They will need steam cleaning. I don't have the door panels but I do know the door panels could be a LOT easier to create than the seats.
These are not perfect but for sure useable. One smaller hole in the driver's seat but these seats just aren't out there. I drove 14 hours to get these seats.

 

I have the complete set of seats. They all need steam cleaned as I said & this is the worst one but I have to clean them up whether you want them or not but will sell them.

It may come down to shipping. I would not be averse to getting that seat repaired, depending on what it would cost to buy the seats & get them here.
