Looking for the GM factory 82-92 rear window ribbed louvers without window light or wiper, if at all possible looking to get the 1987 IROC-Z28 ones that were on my car and removed before I bought it.The originals put out through GM were called "Cragars" and were an ABS Platic on the sides with metal blades in the middle(think once together its all one piece) with no space for the brake light as mines an 87 with light on spoiler and no wiper on the window,would also need all the hardware with it to install since it be hard to find just that.New or Used as long as its all there and in decent shape. Yeah that sounds good ted, I live in Ma/01095 if you would have any idea on how much it be to ship, and if your willing to do that. Before I waste your time though is it just the louvers or the bracket hardware also as I need that too, and do you know if they are after-market or original Cragars part # DE1 as those are the ones im looking for? And thanks james, I might end up with those if I can't find what im looking for, just hate how they look like such cheap plastic almost like they would shred off when you hit the highway, anyone have a set of those that they have any pros and cons about them?

 

yes they are gm, have all hardware, not cracked will get them out when i get home to take pics,

 

yeah i was wondering if anybody else had some some came with my 87 iroc and i wanna get some for my 92 rs b/c i know it had some b/c i have the brackets and the owner before me said he didnt get them from the guy he got the car from looking for what i belive have the the hole for the third brake light if possible or the normal ones which ever much appreciated thanks

 

you still looking? i have a set of cragar louvers with the third brake light spot. they came off of my uncles 86 and are on my 83 right now. but i'm getting rid of the 83 and dont want to put them on my 85

i dont mean to intrude but if he backs out id like to have them. They come with the brackets and everything right? and you said it has the spot for the third brakes light because i have an 85 so i dint need that spot just let me know.

Andy< I don't think they have them anymore. I asked in December and never got a reply. If you look the thread goes back a number of years. There was a guy I was talking to in CA that has some. I will try to find his info if you like. I already found mine.

I have been looking for 3 years now. Got a line on one in NJ was going to drive down from Ontario. Some guy drive up from Florida and offered triple the amount and scored them out from under me. There are ABS aftermarket ones that fit the 3rd gens google 82-92 ABS Camaro louver. Place called Andy's auto sport has them

I have a one piece aluminum louver for the rear window. I had them on my 92 but sold the car. I have all original hardware. The top trim piece on the third brake light cutout is broken off but is not very noticeable. There are also a few hail dings but nothing major. Shoot me an offer, just seeing if there is any interest in them.

Hi Bill, I saw 2 guys yesterday on a Camaro forum on facebook that were selling them around the $100 range. They did not have the hardware which seems to be common. I went to the GM National in Carlisle PA in June just looking for these found a guy who had them with the hinges and prop rod, got it for $50 but missing all but 1 of the lock down hardware. Camaro Central was there and when they find them they sell them for $1500. If you get your hands on one without the hardware around $100 jump on it. I'm looking to get the hardware fabricated when I do I will make a few extra sets and sell them on this site. I will repost to this thread
