89 Formula Cruise Control w/E40 ECM
I'm looking for some logic info on cruise control stalk (aka, Multi Function Lever).
4 wires:
Pnk/Blk-Blu is the 12V ign in.
Grey? - on/off? If so, I will be using a separate ON/OFF, so I will not be using.
Dk Blue?
Yellow?
Which one is Set/Coast?
Which one is Resume/Accel?
Thanks for your help.
Brian

Found on Google Images:
Green - 12V Switched Power
Yellow - Res/Acc
Blue - Cruise On/Off
Red - Set/Coast
You seem to have two different from that scheme though...
Cheers,
M

Early models, least on my 84.You trying to incorporate this into your aftermarket CC.
From DD, but it didn't really help %100.

Well, almost every bit of info uses the Drk Blue as Set/Coast. That leaves yellow as Resume/ Accel. Thanks guys.
I'm using the CANBUS! I am putting the PIM module between the TCM and the ALDL for the CAN circuit. I'm using a separate on/off switch, but using the stalk for input signals.

Damn, over my head.
I ended up putting the DD switch in the GM stalk.Required taking both apart, but it works great & looks OE.I tried using the DD schematic, but all I had was set/on/off.No resume or decal & no wipers to top it off if I stuck w/ the DD stalk.
