I've noticed that knight registries forum seems to no longer exist. I am starting to work on my car again after several years but I'm no longer familiar with who currently sells Knight rider scanners. I have a custom KR bumper. Let me know if you have information about KR scanners and who sells them for KITT replicas.

Ya the KR hobby has changed ALLOT last 5 years or so. Most of the clubs are now mostly on FaceCRAP
There use to be Brennon Fullbrite who was the "GO TO GUY" on KITT Scanners, But he's no longer in the hobby.
You should try "SID NIGHT Scanner" on Youtube he's in Texas and he makes GREAT LED scanner for a around $300. I got one from him few years ago for a customer that I was helping with build a KITT car and have heard nothing but great things about him !!

Re: Knight Rider KITT scanners?
I'd like to get one for the DD to turn on when I see certain people, namely the people who have so many LED lights on their cars that it's obvious they think they're a bada$$.
I personally still prefer the authentic halogen scanners...
They do make LED ones which drain the power from your battery a lot slower than halogen...
The have added capacitors so that they "fade out" , but the quick on / pattern is a giveaway and not authentic looking...
Just so you are aware of the differences... & make your own choice...

one time at a car show in the 80s they had a "kitt" as an attraction I remember it having a orange lightbar and a light going back and forth. no segments. also went to a car show that had the general lee and it had just been painted the day before according to one of the guys at the show. never mind it had the round tail lights (earlier challenger?) with white interior.
