Wet sanding to restore park light & tail light housing's
Park light housing one before wet sanding and waxing the other after wet sanding and waxing.
I decided to try restoring my 91 RS Convertible's park light housing's by wet sanding. Held park light in vise and used electric dancer with 320, 400, 600, 1000, 1500, 3000 & 5000 grit paper - all wet sanded. Washed, dryer and waxed.
I was happy with the out come and it saved a few dollars compared to buying new ones.
Also used the same process on the tail light housing's.

I saw a "Chris FixIt" video where he wet sanded his PT Cruizer's headlights, then used a Rustoleum Gloss Clear for Plastics, that prevented oxidation & UV protection, and 2 years later, the lights still looked good... He sprayed 2 or 3 coats of that stuff on them after wet sanding them...

Nice, you can really tell on the white reverse lens, where all the yellow is gone...
Yeah, I've seen other "refinish lights" and the Rustoleum Clear Gloss for Plastics seemed to do the job to seal and UV protection...
