7k Mile 1982 trans am.... I've died and gone to TA heaven
Just picked up this 1982 trans am with 7K miles!!! Can't even find a swirl mark on it . Came with the original 15 inch turbo cast with caps that were taken off the day the car was bought.

Great find!! Bought my IROC in 2008 and it had 7800 miles on it. Got a whopping 14,000 miles on it now and still love it as much as the day I bought it.

I'm brand new, but the 7K Trans Am I saw was making my mouth drool, what a find , mine telling us the cost and story behind it. I would love it, it looks like a 7 k car !!!

So you seen that last week I detailed the outside, this weekend I did the interior. I still can't believe this car. If I didn't know any better, I would think somebody just built this car out of Nos parts. This week I'll be doing the engine bay ( not that it needs it) and then the undercarriage ... enjoy

Wow. . what a clean car. So amazing to find a 34 year old car in NOS condition. I think yours looks even cleaner than the "brand new" Camaro they found at Gas Monkey Garage.
Hopefully you're planning on keeping it as-is. . .These cars have a lot of improvements that can be made, but this is definitely one to keep in the original, pristine condition. Congrats on the find!

Agree... this car will not be driven. There's too many other third gens i can get that i could drive.... including ones that i own! This is staying in my climate controlled garage just so that i can keep the history alive on an untouched 1982 TA

It's a "collector-item" nowAttachment 307686.
Parades only.

Good to hear. Can't be too many more like this hidden away.
I didn't notice your sig before. . .that this isn't your first or only 3rd gen. I'm sure it's a lot easer to leave this one alone with other cars to wrench on.
Didn't see it above. . .Where did you find the car?
Re: 7k Mile 1982 trans am.... I've died and gone to TA heaven
I saw it on eBay and noticed it was 30 mins away from me in ohio. It was an older gentleman ( original owner) he accepted my offer. He was selling his house, business and car to move to Florida to retire

Awesome. Lol gotta love eBay. That's where I found my car back in 03.

Amazing car and all the best! I'd be scared to own such an example, I'm use to buying junk and improving it. I have an 88 I bought with 49k that I thought was incredibly low. 7k is 2 oil changes!
