The one on the right with curved turndowns is the OE muffler and pipes from my 91 Formula with a Walker intermediate pipe. The rusty mess on the left is OE from my 86 T/A.

Heres the exhaust. It has some black over spray on the tail pipes that can come off with carb cleaner. No rust or damage. The cat back has the flange to directly bolt to the factory n10 dual cat set up. The car has 89000 original miles
Just an off the shelf Flowmaster with stock style dumps. It actually sounds surprisingly good with stock manifolds and N10 cats. Basically stock with more volume. I'd still like to try something else, but it's a gamble with these cars - you can't go on YouTube or to a local meet and sample exhaust setups before you buy, especially if you're just looking for a cat back for a stock car.

I remember you posted your father's RS with a 2OTL, that car sounded awesome. For me, I'd either stay stock or go 2OTL. Tough to find a good muffler/tailpipe assembly for sale any more though. I'm pretty sure Tony has hoarded all the remaining strays and is stockpiling them in his undisclosed underground bunker.
When I sold my '83, it was sitting in my garage for two weeks waiting to be shipped to it's new owner in Germany. I had a fleeting thought of removing the SLP 2OTL and replacing it with another exhaust. I figured those Germans wouldn't know what it was anyway, and they'd probably scrap it and replace it with something else.
But....it felt like douchebaggery to do something like that, so I didn't. I just hope it didn't end up in dumpster in Germany somewhere, because I went through a lot of effort and cost to get it.
