Hello everyone had more of a style and look question this time but my 87 formula came with these wheel from the factory now my car is also a WS6 car too so the question is should I try to find some nice WS6 wheels or keep the stock look

Yes but I'm talking about the sunken in ws6 wheels that came on formulas

 

Those wheels are what came stock on 87 Formulas.

 

Ah OK I thought it was the other way around because I see those wheels with the white center caps that say WS6

 

87 Formulas had the convex wheels, 88-92 Formulas had the concave wheels, aside from some 91.5-92 Formulas that came with black diamond spoke GTA-style wheels.

The convex wheels are neat in their own way. They were the first thirdgen 16" wheel, stock on the 84 15th anniversary edition Trans Am. After 87 they slipped into obscurity. They look good when they're cleaned and polished.

 

Polished and with nice center caps those later 88+ formula wheels do look awesome

 

You could always find some of these..

 

The 88-92 standard formula wheel is also a few lbs lighter than the 87 formula wheel.

You must have a fairly early 87 formula with it still having the firebird emblem on the fender.
