I am in the middle of installing 14" Z06 rotors with Cts-v calipers and pads and front hoses. I was running modified spindles with LS front brakes. I am using the current spindles along with the LS caliper mounting brackets. So far i have the driver side complete. Attatched is a mock up picture. Note ....you must use 18" wheels with less than a 38mm offset.
Are they the same dimensions as the 14" Z06 brake steup? If so, there is a 17" option to fit.

I ran my V brakes with 17 inch C5 wheels for a little while. Needed to shaved down the top of the caliper a bit, and even then the caliper would rub with wheel flex, (small potholes, going over driveway curbs). Granted I probably could have shaved a bit more off, but I didn’t want to continue down that road. Im sure with a different style 17 inch wheel, you can get more clearence without having to touch the caliper.
On another note, do those Z calipers use the same bracket and spacing as the V caliper bracket? I might need to upgrade again 🤔...
