Did somebody bid on the formula after it past the block? I remember watching it get to 17.5 and it just stalled which I thought was a decent price considering there's a smaller formula market of buyers vs a huge trans am crowd in the market. Looks the TTA came to a price what eBay auctions ask for, stalled at 37.5 and the reserve wasn't lifted to sell. I'm curious since the GTA did a good number how much the 88 will do when it goes down the block.
wonder what the seller walks away with after he pays the entry fee , fee for running the car on saturday , fee for having a reserve and then the commision fee when he sells it ?

In the case of that particular GTA, it was already in FL. But if not, figure a couple grand on top of the listing fees. Buyer also pays.
Seats... Just the way it is, I guess... Every small block is a 350. Every TPI is a Corvette engine. Every Camaro is an Iroc. Every Trans Am is a GTA or KITT. <puking smiley> Every V8 Firebird is a Formula...
That's decent money for the z28. In my area you wouldn't be able to sell that car for that much. Its all about the area you live in i guess. Kissimmee area hasnt been over bearing on the selling prices like they would be at Barrett jsckson.
"Frame on Restoration" and "upgraded to 250hp"? Do they really know what they're talking about, since you can't do a frame "off" restoration? Also, are the mods done gonna get the car to 250? Or is that just a guess on their part?
Unless there are two metallic flame red 1988 GTAs in America with less than 6K miles, and there may be, that one that sold for $17,500.00 was out of Illinois. Indeed, one day when I had a few of my cars in the driveway the guy stopped at my house with that car; turns out he lives less than half a mile from me. He told me he bought it for an "investment" but as I recall he paid more than that for it when he bought it. This was probably one or two years ago.
The yellow '86 finally sold. It's been on eBay a few times.
Its because the owners that have sold the car have been trying to sell it as an HO which it clearly isn't. A lot of false in his ad has turned people away from it. Its a nice car, but at the end of the day its an LG4. When an owner won't correct his facts it can turn a buyer away in a hurry.
it seems like the third gens are the cars that everyone is always getting the deals on , wonder why ? alot of 70's and 80's cars seemed to bring alot more money then the third gens .. hope they catch up someday ..
