Ebay? The classifieds - ext parts wanted.

Hated the fogs on my 91 V6. Damn things were junk from day one, had to hunt for good used parts, rebuilt the entire system and they were still junk. And that was 15 years ago.

On eBay I just typed in "92 Firebird fog" and 6 of them popped up, somes singles, some pairs.

I checked the places I go to - Third Gen Ranch, Third Gen Bargain Barn & Frank's Pontiac Parts and no dice. Frank's had two sets, but they're both sold.

Hawk's Motorsports lists used ones for '91 - '92 Firebird for $50 each, driver's & passenger's sides - call them to check availability and shipping.

I don't know what your beef is, but I put in some LED bulbs in mine and they are so good I use them as my headlights

Re: 1991-1992 Firebird Fog lights

LEDs didn't really exist when I had mine. Just general quality issues were the big thing. Firebird fogs are like the $19.99 Blazer brand fogs at the chain stores and Walmart (right next to the Betty Boop mudd flapps). Of hand I remember rebonding the glass lens to the body, replacing the plated steel bulb socket in the back of the housing, replacing the terminals because they rotted out, the bulb retaining spring (rusted out), and changing the bulbs about 10,000 times because they burned out constantly.

Once I'd rebuilt everything, and accepted the fact that anything more than a 35 watt H3 would burn up, they mostly worked ok. Sometimes still had to thump one or the other with a finger to make them come on.

I guess I didn't use mine enough when I still had a halogen bulb in there. Mine were separated, the glass and the housing when I started modding them. But on my other car, 91 GTA, they were in relative good shape, no worse than from my 88 GTA
