ehhhh I dunno. Let's be clear, LOVE the russet brown and while stock is cool, so is an LS swapped stock appearing thirdgen. That being said, it kinda looks like the hood doesn't fit/close quite right. ....and the add doesn't make mention of the color that I can find, and all it says under details is Ls swap. While the physical car can be inspected, and additional details verified, this add kinda smells fishy. Not like scammy....but just overreaching on a car that may not really be what it sounds like it is. ....doesn't feel like this guy has a lot of pride in the car

 

With it being here in California I wonder if it was legally swapped.

 

I asked the current owner, It is brown and he bought it from original owner

Cool color combo. Does it have A/C? Any other info on the drivetrain? I'm no expert, but I see a few cosmetic things that are off on this car. I still like it.

 

Sport mirrors, not paddle mirrors, so not an early build. Wonder what the build sequence is?

 

I wasn't suggesting it wasn't brown, just that he didn't mention that, meaning he probably didn't realize it was rare. ....and he doesn't go into any details about anything else in the add. I've always felt like if taking some decent pictures and typing an add is too much effort, how can I trust you to have taken care of the car? -and then with the hood not seeming to fit right....again on paper this sounds great, but I'd steer clear of this one.

 

Looks like rear spoiler was replaced with aftermarket (looks different in shape) from original. Nice color.

 

ITT, people get excited about poop brown paint.

The upside of the color is that it almost looks black if you don't look too closely.

 

I recently did the headlight motors on my 88 formula, when I re installed them it was a dead match for those. They've been removed and never re adjusted- something's definitely wrong between the bumper and hood, missing fender emblem?
