Keep Dark Russet Metallic or not?

I just purchased a 87 Dark Russet Metallic GTA. I bought the car with the intention of repairing it and reselling. The car had been sitting in the person's driveway for over two years so needless to say the paint is gone. I am not sure what color to paint it. I really haven't seen a nice DRM GTA, so I don't know if the color looks hot or not. I do know that DRM was a rare color for 87. As you can see I'm in limbo here. What do you guys and girls think. Keep the color or not?

I'm having trouble picturing the color. Is it like the Burgandy metallic color? Kinda like this one?

never heard of that color before....or seen it. Perhaps the paint is VERY mistreated? I know mine would get to be very dark when I didn't wash/wax it soon enough.

Here's a picture for reference.

No thats not it. According to the production figures at GTA source page, it was only available in 87. They only made 372 of them. The color is a very dark metallic brown. In some lighting, it looks black. Here's a link to the figures-http://www.gtasourcepage.com/87RPOFigures.html
The car also has a tan interior. So what do you think, keep it? I have not seen a good picture of one anywhere. I'm stuck between rarity and looks.
Thanks

On a side note....what color are the badges? That is a beautiful shade.

Funny you mention the badges, they are brown and gold. I have been calling dealers all morning trying to find a brown nose badge with no luck.

I've got an 86 Z with the Med Russet (Dark Brown) Color, Tan Interior and Gold Ground effects and I get alot of positive comments on mine. Definitely a rarity. There were only 3,000 '86 in that color. With all the black accents it looks sharp! Keep it!
