Camaro and Firebird Clear Convertible Tonneau Lid Protector

Selling a NOS GM third gen Camaro Firebird Clear Convertible tonneau Lid Protector film. This is the clear film that is adhered on top of the tonneau Lid where the Convertible top sits on top of. This protects the paint and the top and is a must for protecting the paint and for a correct restoration. Discontinued for years and hard to find. GM part number 12520107. Should work on all third gen f body Convertibles. I will be selling a significant amount of hard to find nos GM parts for third gens over the next few months so please let me know what you need. Asking $260 shipped for this. Call or text Shawn at 310-279-6974

This goes on the painted portion of the tonneau cover where the 5th bow rubber weatherstripping makes contact, correct?

If I'm reading your ad correctly, how does the application of this clear film to the painted tonneau cover surface protect the convertible top?

I can possibly see how it would protect the paint, although it's rubber contacting a painted finish and if the paint is kept waxed it shouldn't be an issue.

GM made these and installed them from the factory to protect the paint. It also protects the bow weatherstripping on the top from getting wax or paint transferred to it from sitting.

Do you have an electric trunk release (not pull down, the one with just the trunk popper) for a 91 or 92? If so I need that.
