Thanks guys! A very hot day in Texas with temps surpassing 100 and little to no breeze. Not the best time of the year to hold a car show I suppose....nah!
Thanks guys! I really enjoy participating in shows which feature custom awards vs the plastic cookie cutter trophies we see at most shows.
Here are a few more awards from Saturday

This Sat local cruise in. One or two more shows and a couple cruise-ins left this year. Having hip surgery mid September then she will have a couple months rest then hopefully get a fresh L98 come winter or spring.
I missed trophy night at the Cruisin the Tree night in Danvers.. It was 40% chance of thunderstorms so didn’t want to risk it..
Last night we had a great turnout and had every generation Camaro. A beautiful 1973 Z28 all original with 70k miles parked two spaces down and a mint, all original 67 parked in between us.. there were two 4th gen SS, 5th and 6th.. We’ll have to get the cars in order and do a photo next time..
Well, Third Gens are my favorite and I haven’t seen one around here in better shape yet..
Everyone has their favorite gen..
Its kinda nice to see the 5th and 6th gens have a pretty strong following.. They see themselves as the underdogs with all the rows of Mustangs and Corvettes and feel snubbed by the older muscle car crowd.. Reminds me of bringing my IROC to big cruise nights back in the 90s. The IROC gets a lot more love now than back then.

I didn't know there was a 6th gen Camaro. Doesn't look any different than a 5th Gen to me if ive saw one.
they call it 6th.. but less of a change IMO than between third and fourth.. It looks like a late 5th with new bumpers, lights, grille, LEDs, etc.. Profile is pretty similar..
the 2019 is not great looking.. you can google it, but you’ve been warned

I don't get this one either??? It looks pretty much the same, not really a body style change at all. If every time a front end got changed we would be like Gen 10 by now!.
Its just Meguiars Polymer Sealant which was from last year (stuff lasts forever)
But a guy with a 2018 SS (similar color to mine) used Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax and it looks incredible. It’s all carnuba so I’m sure it won’t last as long, but looks pretty deep and shiny.. I might try that soon..
I am a Me quire's man also. I use all their "Ultimate" line, the wax goes on and off easily and it leaves a really deep shine also. This is a synthetic wax so the shine really lasts. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
I use the professional line and the ultimate line and don’t really notice much difference. Of the stuff they carry in stores it’s the best. The Ultimate Polish works really well too..
The Ultimate Polymer Quik Detailer spray is amazing.. Big difference from the red bottle..
I haven’t found tire dressing I’m in love with yet..

We are straying off topic but you guys should give Wizards products a try. I have been very happy with the Wizards products. The Wizards machine polishes are every bit as good as the Meguiars and slightly less on cost. I did a quick review between them in my build thread. After Wizards the Mequiars is my favorite vendor.

Try the Meguiars Hyper Dressing. It is water based so you can dilute it to whatever shine you want. Only downside is you have to buy it by the gallon. From a normal parts store I love Eagle one tire shine in the Aerosol cans but it might be discontinued. It was on clearance a few years ago and I bought at least a dozen cans.
Most definitely! I park my black summer driver under a goddamn dustyass tree (city space constraints) and am washing the damn thing all the time. Luckily if you’re semi-obsessed with your car that’s actually a therapeutic treat lol
[QUOTEp=Tibo;6246801]Do you find a show to attend every weekend? Are you driving far? Has your wife been nominated for sainthood?[/QUOTE]
Lol, I attend a couple a month and trailer to about half of them. I’m lucky enough to have a wife that is very understanding.
Cars and Coffee yesterday Aug 26th WPB FL. It was the busiest I ever seen. An estimate of 1500 cars. It took so much of the mall lot that I only went I/2 way through it. I left early @ around 11 and there was still cars coming in. I took the offset photo so you could see the black IROC that was parked behind me.
This was just one row of the west lot, there were 2 other lots to the east also.
