Memorial day show. God bless all you Veterans out there and thank you for your service.
MEMORIAL DAY is to remember those, in America's Military, who DIED serving America. Veterans Day is to thank those who SERVE and have SERVED, in America's Military. Yesterday was Memorial Day.
Yes I know well what its for and what it is. Is it ll right with you if I thank those who served and those who continue to serve and put their life on the line for us on Memorial day as well? God bless the USA

Lot's of well meaning folks confuse the holidays. Just making it clear.
@dmccain your car continues to impress. Glad you're able to make it to as many shows as you do. You’re car is a great example of a thirdgen for people to look at.
Curious, because you seem to make it to a decent amount of shows and cruises...How many other 3rd gens do you come across?
Thank you punzak9. Yours is a very nice car also with the most impressive color blue they put on these cars.. Rarely ever do I see a Thirdgen and rarely clean examples like on this forum. I am seeing a lot of Fox body Mustangs and Grand Nationals more than I see Thirdgens.
Memorial Day Weekend car show, there were actually three third gens at this show. Mine and two belonging to a couple of buddies. One a 88 DX3, 5 speed car and the other an 87 g92 L98 car. My 85 picked a top 20 award.
At this weekend's annual U.S. Border Patrol Summer Festival in Mercedes, Texas, great event with only about 10 cars invited. We were fed breakfast, lunch, the complimentary draft beer flowed and we got to judge the bbq cook off, needless to say we ate our fill. The temp was in the 100's with the temperature index about 117 but we setup under a large exhibition pavilion with several overhead "big *** fans" which made it tolerable.
A quick photo from our Pontiac Oakland Club International (POCI) Chapter 16 Michigan Widetrackers "Spring Dust-Off". Great little show, beautiful location.

NOW, this poster has his "Car Show" Photo priorities right!
I have had it with hood's / deck-lids OPEN at car shows. The beautiful styling and design of the automobile, is lost when displayed in this fashion. You rarely see open ports at car museums , or dealer showrooms.
YES, I get the Muscle engine thing, I have owned Muscle cars and built engines, since 1973. My wife and I went to the Sacramento Ca. Car Museum, recently, great display, some in "Period" settings, which is really nice! FEW open hoods.
At a show today I Kamrar, Iowa. I was the only third gen.....actually I dont think I even saw another Camaro, period, out of 160 cars
I can't remember the last time I saw a thirdgen at a car show. I haven't seen a fourthgen Fbody at a show for three years. Although to be fair I should disclose that I live in retirementville....
