82 Z28 Under hood insulation

I was wondering who made the most "original" hood insulation for my Camaro. I've seen some really, really bad ones that look like a giant, black diaper. I want one that's as close to original as possible. Anyone find a good one? Mine just doesn't work for me lol

I've seen some reproductions for the 82-84 but you need to be careful that they have the foil backing. My '82 was replaced with one of the generic ones years ago and we had to glue the original foil to the underside of it. Because the hood is fiberglass, you need that foil and the ground strap.

That is GREAT info! I didn't realize the foil was so important
