LT1 T56 Swap starter issues Gen1 SBC

Hi,
Bought a starter for my swap The starter I got is the little gear reduction one for a '95 Z28. Has a number of 6449N on it .think the GM model of the starter is PG260 or something like that...
My issue is the bolts will not line up with the holes in the block. From the centerline of the amrature of the starter the bolt holes are 1" or so too close to the crank centerline.

Does someone have a part number of a started that is known to fit?
Car is an "88 5.7 L98 car with the original motor.

6449N appears to be a staggered pattern starter for the larger flywheel/flexplate? post a pic

6449N is for staggered bolts. It is not a 95 Z28 starter.

Any V8 82-97 manual F-body starter will work; 93-97 were permanent magnet and are an upgrade. Those were also in 95-96 Caprice etc. There were automatic third gen starters that do not fit.

Any 84-96 350 C4 Vette starter will work; the mini gear reduction was used 88? onward and is an upgrade.

My LT1 T56 bellhousing and third gen 5spd starter worked fine together.

I can't think of a truck application starter that will work. Even S10 used a 168 tooth flywheel with the 4.3 AFAIK.

Amazon had the staggered as the right one for 4th gen LT1. I'm sending that one back I found another one that has the straight bolt pattern I'm going to try. Thanks for the input!
