Serious question Matt, what makes these better than stock? Is it because they eliminate the stock rubber rag joint that easily fails?

 

Yessir! U jointed yokes instead of the rag joint so it will basically never fail. Much better connected feeling to the steering. These things really clean up the engine bay too

I've had several folks ask what needs to be done to put it into their cars. here's my response:

my steering shafts are 100% modified and ready to be put into your car. you will need to make one "accepting mod" on the car to allow the shaft to work. you will need to "machine" a reciever groove on the column to allow the pinch bolt to pass by. this can be done easily with a rotary file on a dremel tool. reference the attached picture.

 

all steering shafts from this batch are sold or spoken for! Thanks again everyone! Here's to hoping i can get more in a timely manner!

i do not currently have any with a damper in stock.

 

Can't wait till I get mine. Btw what's the differences with the dampner?

 

it's got a rubber damper near the piece that connects to the box. it is supposed to help decrease any additional road noise that may be transferred through the steering. some people like them, others say they aren't worth anything. i've not found a benefit of one over the other.
