Look at this gem! hahahahahahaha
I dont even know what to say here. BIN for $20K and it doesnt even have the correct interior in it. The engine is a mid 80s TPI one. No rear shoulder seatbelts on this car either. Seller states it has 62K miles on it yet its had 8 owners in those 62K miles. It must be that 351 Z pack option

It's got the stench of theft recovery all over it. The mount for the rear shoulder belt is visible in one photo, along with what looks like the 91.5-92 lug wrench, and the 91.5-92 hatch pulldown. Being that close to Mexico, the original drivetrain and interior is probably running around Chihuahua in the infamous El Guapo's El Camino.

It only has 62k miles now, but in 2000 it was just 102k. So, a 162k mi car (at least, 3-4k miles a year is kind of small or it could be 262k miles (just under 10k miles a year since 2000). Either way, looks clean for that mileage. Considering he bought it with a loan, he probably was misinformed about the condition and mileage of the car. I wouldn't doubt it if a salesman told him it had the ultra rare 351 tpi, and the IROCZ's are called Z-Packs by those in the know.

As the owner stated: "This is all factory without modifications aside from the stereo installed in the trunk. Even comes with the original spare tire AND inflation can"..
I think it's pretty sweet! You don't see a lot of completely original low mileage, custom cars anymore with new interiors and engines (trying to keep a straight face right now).
If there is one thing I have learned on this forum in the short time I have been here; there are way toooooooo many people that know these cars inside and out to be able to fool any of them. I thought I was smart be noticing the dash and interior, but when guys start talking about lug wrenches and seat belts, clearly I still have lots to learn...haha.

Well I just hope he is simply ignorant of what he has and was fed a line by the guy he bought it from. I would hate to think (but most likely it is) he realized he got screwed over and is now sending it on down the line for the next guy to deal with. Sometimes when you make a bad purchase you have to man up and eat it.......ends the lies and the fraud with you and sell it for what it is. I could never mislead someone like that and feel alright with having their money in my pocket, but it happens all the time.
