No rocker studs? Anything else missing or wrong with these heads at all!! A fast search brings up lots of bad storys about problems....why did you use these in the past two +years?

Re: Pro comp heads
Bought them for the 350 I had, sold it.... car was vandalized two years ago, been sitting in my garage untouched since. Just bought a 454 got my itch back. I'll take a good look at the heads today and upload with more pics, obviously not looking to get out what I have into everything just want to move them and move on.

Damn, hate seeing what happened to your car! Why are you going with a BB? Should be a fun build though.

Re: Pro comp heads
Getting quotes to reply with now, got a 454 already machined just needed elbow grease for $300, gave me the itch again, trying to scrounge up the money to get the 049's done so I need to clean out all the 350 stuff...

Re: Pro comp heads
So I pulled the heads out and took a better look at them while I was weighing everything, the one with a light amount of surface rust seems to have had something leak into the box, the surface of the head has a few blemishes on it... appears to be lightly pitted but I'm pretty sure it'll clean up. May need to be resurfaced real quick. Just wanted to let you guys know. The other head is completely fine

Re: Pro comp heads
When youre tired of dreamers and really want to sell them email me please. What else do you have?
interested in them as bare castings as I dont like their hardware but heck if the price is right why not.
Edit; op looks like there were studs on there, have you tried fitting some rockers to see if they are lined up seems a problem area on those
Just curious
