Note they don't come with the distributor to intake mounting gasket, distributor hold down clamp or bolt.

The only difference between the caps that come on the complete distributor assembly and the Delco Remy branded caps is the words Delco Remy molded into the caps and the Delco Remy branded caps don't have the Yellow distributor assembly part number sticker on the side. These are service replacement caps to fit any of the GM small cap HEI distributors.

I received mine a couple days ago and popped it right in. Way better than my original 37yr old rusty dusty distributor. I used the 839 icm that came with it and am running some tests with tuner pro. So far so good.

 

@BHR ran some tests on it too. I think for spark latency. Over my head for right now. Let us know what you find out.

I had a chance to run mine on the track during an open lapping day the other week. Performed like a champ, even at high RPMs, bouncing off the rev limiter.

I would recommend purchasing one of these if you have a high milage engine (245,000km on mine - 15k on full rebuild).
