Car: No F-Body Currently :(
Engine: none
Transmission: none
Axle/Gears: still...none...(ugh)
You don't need to be THAT good......trust me..remember, you are looking at the picture full screen, the printout will only be 4x6. Try printing out one of your photoshopped pics, see how bad it in that size picture....tell the notary you took them in bad lighting with a crappy disposable camera...
Did you ask in the photoshop section of the forums here?

It needs to be 20 years old right?
Otherwise, at least here in WI, you can go for hobbyist plates, which can be a fully modified car, at least 20 years old.... just a thought...

the irony of this post is that i could have fixed those flames for you in photoshop, but i guess i have too much of an attitude problem
i think you might be a little confused on the requirements for classic plates. first off, it does not need to be factory paint, but the car needs to basically be in stock or restored condition. I don't see anything in the wording specifically disallowing flames and i know i've seen many classic and antiques out there with custom paint such as flames. second, yes you are exempt from emissions, but you must own another vehicle to drive daily because you are not permitted to drive a vehicle with classic plates every day. the registration clearly states that the vehicle is allowable for car shows, activities related to car clubs and once a week transportation. there's no concrete rules, but you can't daily drive or exclusively own a classic vehicle.

i'm in the process of applying for them myself actually.

The key words there is stock. The tag place I started questioning about applying for classic plates told me they would not accept it with the flames on it. I don't know how all those other people get away with it. My car is in restored condition and I only put about 7,000 miles on it in the 4 years I have had it minus the year it spent in the body shop getting a face lift. Lucky for me I have a company car

also, there is an alternative. PA also offers collectible plates, pretty much same deal as classic plates but no year restrictions and it's intended for modified cars. The only downside is that if you ever surrender your classic registration to go back to a regular one, you get a reconstructed title.
on top of that, if you drive a documented less than 3000 miles a year, you can get an emissions exempt sticker on a regular registration. I see them all the time, there were a bunch at the cruise night i went to last night. I don't know how to do it specifically, but i don't think you need to do anything special, other than prove that you drove less than 3000 miles the previous year to the inspection shop.

here. I reskinned your car using a picture of my iroc. it was too hard to try to hide the flames. if you need help on the other angles let me know, but i might need you to take very specific angle pictures of your car if i don't have something similar to reskin with. i wouldn't recommend trying to send in a picture of someone else's car though.
sorry about busting your chops on my first post. I figured you were just trying to cheat your way out of emissions with some pos daily driven thirdgen, but it's obvious that's a pretty sweet car. I noticed the rcn.com email address. where are you located? I'm in allentown.

Just to let you know the only reason I am trying register it as a classic is so I can get good insurance coverage on it. I have alot of money and time invested in the car and its the only way an insurance company will give me more then book value which is like $800 if somebody decides they cant drive and plows into me.
