screen desktop request
I'm about as useful at photoshop as a tuner is at growing hair on his chest. I've had a dream of building a Camaro ever since I was about 7, so I'm wondering if someone might help me out with making a desktop background for my computer.
I really like blue with the ground effects, so this might be a good base picture.
I would like the wing of the Z28.
Also, some vette wheels would be awesome (perhaps with some red calipers if lighting and spacing allow)
Then maybe some T-tops and the Iroc badge if it's not too hard, and a nice backdrop (a nice waterfall perhaps). If someone would be able to help me out with that, I would definitely be a happy camper!

Re: screen desktop request
I've been learning some GIMP and so far I've got the z28 badge on there where the RS used to be and got me some rims.

I spent about an hour goofing around to get that Iroc Z badge on there, but here she it. I think that pretty much concludes the car, but those rims still look a little weird. I may revisit them later.

Alrighty then. Here's the 'final' version of the Camaro itself.
So far, I have:
inverted it
swapped out the RS badge for a Z28
stuck an Iroc emblem on the side
dropped a wing on it
got rid of the chevy bowtie on the grill
took out the antena
put some different rims on it
Not bad for a n00b in a couple hours. I think I'll take a bit of a breather before trying to get a nice background on it.
Dah...crap. I just noticed the telephone pole in the window. I shall have to take that out too.

Re: screen desktop request
Hi Bro! Thought I would give it a try. I have done alot of wallpaper pic's of my car. What type of background are you looking for? Here is a photoshop pic of the reflection taken off the windows and side of the car. Looking not bad. I will do up a wallpaper and post it when I'm done. Cheers..

Hey, that's pretty nice. I was hoping for a scenic something or another. Perhaps a waterfall, or a nice sunset (although the lighting would be tricky). Thanks man.

I saw this one and thought it would be nice.
Here it is with the camaro added and some more photoshoppin.
I know it's not perfect and it's fairly obvious it's been photoshopped in there, but it's not bad for my first day with any real picture editing if I do say so myself.

I was trying to figure out what didn't quite work in that pic and I think it's because there aren't any shadows on the camaro. The sun appears to be around 10 o'clock.

Re: screen desktop request
Thanks man. I decided the tree on the left would be a pain in the butt, so I ditched it and the shadow that went along with it. I liked the fireworks from the other pic I posted, so I stuck that in there. All together, I think it's basically done except for the shadow.

Just have to play around with it till it looks the way you want. Like the ones I did up above? Kool to play around with the Photoshop. :-) Cheers..

Alrighty, here's the latest version. I must say, it looks pretty darn good. I'm even starting to like the shadow.

Re: screen desktop request
I'm rather pleased with this pic especially since it's my first time doing any real photo editing. Now if they were only this easy to build in real life.
I had a look at some of your pics and they're pretty sweet too. Thanks man!
