Alright guys. I know the Sout West Mini Gatherings are usualy planned for Swap Meet Weekends.. But I have an idea.. Sunday August 24th is Laps For Charity at Texas Motor Speedway, I attended last year, and This would be an excellent event and meeting place for us. But I am also planning to have the Texas Thirdgen Alliance meet (which includes many Thirdgen Clubs of texas) at TMS, so this SHOULD be the largest SWMG ever!! well at least i hope, but im thinking if we get enough people to say they are gonna attend, that we could organize a small car show or something in the center parking at TMS.. ALong with a few other ideas.. But i need to know ASAP about how many people should be able to attend. So what is you guys opinion??

What time of the day do they start the Laps?
Maybe we can meet up before or after the Laps to eat or something.
I should have my thirdgen running by then.

They start at 6pm.. But i was thinking about trying to organize a car show, and seeing if TMS will let us use one of the parking lots in the center, last time i went there, there were a few small clubs meeting in them, and i think there should be MORE then enough room for a pretty good sized show. So i thought about asking some of the other car clubs (4th gen, mustang, import etc etc) to see if they wanted join the show, so that we actualy have alot of people with nice cars.. but this is still on the drawing board, and i dont even know if TMS will reserve one of the inside parking lots for us.. But i think we can organize all this, and maybe get some sponsors out there... But if any of you guys have some ideas about this, PLEASE feel free to share. I'v only been to two car shows and i loved them.. So i think this would be awsome...

i would actually like to go even, hopefully my car will be running na should be running by this weekend but yeah i am interested even though I would have to drive back to houston for school on monday but i can do it.
