broken headers

a friend of mine has an old set of shorty style headers that came off his 91 z28 5.7 tpi and hes said he would give themm to me for 20 bux or 50 with install. but the catch is one of the emissions tubes on one side broke off.

he said it will still pass emissions since one side still works or i could try to get them repaired.

my question is do u think this is a good deal..
should i try and fix the headers or just put themon
but will it still pass emissions???

does anyone know where i could get the emissions tubes welded back on real cheap in the garland tx area

try Triple A muffler on Broadway. Joey did a really nice job on my Impala a few years ago. (972)240-6076.

I don't think there's any cemetary on Broadway....the one you're thinking about may be on First Street or Garland Rd....

also, there's a good, cheap muffler shop on Buckner called Brothers. They're really cheap, it's right across the street from Speedtek....

Triple A is on Belt Line/Broadway just north of 30. I haven't been over there in a few years, but it is less than a mile, on the right as you go North.

yeah, I got my cutout on my old DSM turbo and my flowmaster on my old LT1 put on there. Decent work, real cheap (unless they changed). Speedtek is a good shop, couple of my buddies work there (at the Dallas location).
Few good sites:
