need a junkyard
need a junkyard
I need to find a junkyard to pull some pieces out of third and fourth gen cars. If anyone knows of a good one in the Dallas/Irving area in Texas, let me know. Also, what would these be under in the phone book? Thanks.

do any of you guys have U-Wrench it? around here they have lots of f-body parts like 30 thirdgens last time I was there they even had their own row away from the other GM products i think they had like 6 fourth gens too
theres one called U-Pull-IT in Grandprarie(i think?) off of E-Jefferson street/road. I found it in the phone book(under salvage yards i believe). I've been there a couple of times and last time i was there, they had a row of about 30 third gen camaros. didnt really see and 4th gen. Hope this helps
Oh, and if you go there, the street it is on has a few more salvage yards, but i didnt get a chance to look around in those.

Brihoop I was out there the other day. The U-Pull it had about 20 or so third gen cars. Not much engine stuff out there. Some interior stuff. I took the only decent map pocket and shift ****. Theres some other good peices out there though.
I found a place that wanted to sell me a fourth gen console for $100. Is this a decent price? I thought it was a bit pricey, because I've heard of people getting them for about $10. I don't expect that cheap necessarily, but I don't know.
I know of a good place for 4thgen parts in Rowlett off Dalrock Rd. You can e-mail them at coolhluk@hotmail.com
Tell them Jason sent you.
Also, $100 for a 4thgen console is about the going rate.

not to revive this topic or anything, but I need one that might have a 4th gen flywheel, have any old clutch pedal setup (hydrolics and all)Any *GOOD* leads? I'll probably call all the places mentioned above...but still any others?
Hey Corry,
If you still need the hydraulics, I reccommend buying them straight from your GM dealer. I bought the complete sealed assembly (Master Cyl, Slave Cyl and reservoir) for a T-56 and it was less than $100. Not bad for all new GM parts...and no bleeding necessary - just bolt it on.

I had called the dealer....they told me a total of $300 so I went to a junkyard called Burleson Auto Recyclers or something like that, and got the entire pedal assembly, master and slave cylinder, remote resivoir, and hydrolic line for $60
