Guys, you know the story. Car sits, gets driven ~10 miles every now and then, when the weather's nice. Keep putting more mods and money into it because thats the hobby. Then, the wife says "how are we going to come up with the down payment for the new house, and the furniture to go in it."
I thought I would put up a quick post to gauge interest before I advertise it in the Austin paper.
I'm the second owner of this 1987 WS6 Formula with 99,000 original miles. The car is basically finished except for the paint, but the body is near perfect, and the interior is original excellent.
I've got a huge mods list I'm documenting, but the basics are in my sig. After adding up everything, its got over $10,000 in mods, not including the price of the car (have receipts). This is a solid, dependable, 12 second daily driver, street car. I took it to the track once a couple of months ago, once I finished everything, and it ran 12.9's @108mph on a 2.2 60ft (have slips). That was with a crappy 12" 2500 stall converter. Now it has a 3200 Vigilante, WOW! The car is really hard to hook up from a standing start, even with the Nittos. The suspension is really setup for cornering, so thats the tradeoff.
I need to get $7000 cash for the car.
