I need to get at least one, if not a pair of T-tops for my 82 Pace Car. I lost one about 90mph, and it did indeed shatter when it hit the pavement. I lost the drivers side. If anyone knows of a thirdgen bone yard in the texas area, I heard there was one in Dallas, or know where I can get a mirror tint t-top with the hook style latches, I would greatly appreciate it. Just glad it has been hot down here

Not sure how far you are willing to go but there is one in OKC, I got my first 3rd gen there. They have a large selection. If you are interested I'll find the name.

If you can find the name, and perhaps a contact # that would be awesome. I am having no luck finding t-tops here. Closest I found was Fl ...

Seen quite a few here in San Diego. Just pass 'em up since I don't need one. I think they are about $25 at one junk yard and $50 each at another.

Shall I search for ya? Also, please define "hook style". The only ones that I see are the latch pin style. Are there others?

Yes there are others. The hook style was around 82-85 cars. I've also been told the mirror tint came ONLY on the 82 Pace Cars. I think that will probably hurt me more than anything. If anyone knows whether this is true or false, that would be great.

Any information y'all can come up with would be great. I haven't had a chance to get near my computer in awhile, work is hectic. Anyways, back to the old grind.

Yea, looks like I'll be getting a pair of the smoke hook-latch style t-tops, until I can find another drivers side mirror tint.

I had seen a few in the bone yard a few times. Mine are mirrored inside also, but I tinted them due to the sun here in Yuma. I'll look for ya when I get a chance to go down there again.

If I go with the later model with the keys, I have to convert everything. That means I need the latch part that bolts to the top of the windsheild frame, and the backside of the top. I've thought about doing that, I have to disassemble one and see if thats all it is. If you have those parts, what would you ask for that?
