man...what a night...
at least all this junk didn't happen to me until after the gathering..
here's how it goes.
on my way home, Gary and I stopped at Oreilly's to fix my flashers (they weren't working)... we got them fixed and on 2920 we raced a little bit (nothing too bad)
A cop then pulled up beside me and let me know that he could bust me for racing. He didn't do anything, but Gary and I were like "Oh ****".
After Gary and I seperated, I was on Gosling road heading home when my car decided it wanted to die on me. I stopped at one guy's house and he gave me a jump. About a 1/2 mile up the road, my car again died and another home owner was kind enough to give me another jump.. This one lasted 2 miles, only because I was driving extremely fast on a 2 lane road. Then I gave up and called my brother. He gave me a jump and I was able to drive the car over the Gosling bridge (yep, thats it). So this time, we took an extra long time trying to charge my battery (approx 15 min). I made it to the exxon gas station and parked my car. We drove the rest of the way home where my brother then took my camaro and I took the battery out of his truck to put it in my Trans Am. The battery barely was able to start my car and leave it running long enough to get home.
As it turns out..
A) My car's alternator isn't working at all
B) My battery isn't holding a charge
C) My car is a hoopty
ARGH.. what a crappy night.
