Hey I did have a 4th gen rear-end w/ disc-brakes but I gave it to my bro.

He welded half of a front end car frame with independent suspension disc brakes to the front of his 55 Chevy pickup, and put the 4th gen discs on the rear.

 

I'd blow a 4thgen ten bolt just as quick as a 3rdgen 10-bolt.

The Moser 4thgen 12-bolt I will be getting costs $2,300 bucks new from Moser engineering!! OUCH!

 

What kind of gears? any pics, is it sold already?

Uh I have to take the rear-end cover off. I'm not sure what is in it.
He said he never touched the gears...
It's disc and I know for sure it has a posi!
